General Information
European Climate Services Capabilities – user needs and communication with stakeholders.
In Europe, many climate services are more and more trans-boundary in character. International collaboration is needed to develop and provide services on a European scale or to serve users at country level when consistency with neighbouring countries is required.
The ECAC will provide a forum for exchanging and sharing knowledge on the development of services and identifying and linking stakeholders, users, providers and researchers to strengthen the socio-economic benefits of these services.
Registration
Credentialed journalists and public information officers of scientific societies, educational institutions, or government agencies may register for the EMS&ECAC 2012 as members of the press at no charge. A business card must be presented. Freelance science writers must present a current membership card from EUSJA, NASW, NCSWA, CSWA, ISWA or SEJ or evidence of a by-lined science story published in 2011 or 2012.
